If more sessions are required, it may be due to the complexity of the condition or because it has been present for several months or years.

How does an osteopathy treatment process work?
My Approach
Phase 01
Your First Visit
During the first visit, I take the time to listen to your needs, ask questions about different areas of your life, and review your health history.
Through a detailed interview and a precise assessment of areas of restriction, I work to identify the region that has the greatest impact on your body’s overall balance.
I also make sure to use the approach that is best suited to your situation.
.
Phase 02
MobiliZation
It is not uncommon for the movement restriction to be located far from the painful area, since all structures of the body are interconnected — this is what makes my work so rich.
The goal is to understand how a local imbalance can influence other regions.
I use gentle manual techniques to restore balance and improve mobility, whether it involves tissues, joints, nerve pathways, or viscera.
Phase 03
OptimiZation
The goal is to learn how to better control movement in the affected area.
We develop improved body awareness and a more effective connection between the brain and the stabilizing muscles of the joint.
Phase 04
Integration
This phase involves stabilizing the joint in different positions while avoiding muscular compensations.
It is also the time to incorporate more complex and functional exercises to improve coordination, strength, endurance, and power.
Wearing a tank top and shorts is ideal. You should wear comfortable clothing, as the entire body is addressed in each session.
How My Areas of Specialization Can Make a Difference
My Specializations
Scoliosis
Through a gentle, whole-body approach, my method helps realign the spine, reduce tension, and restore optimal mobility.
Scoliosis is a common postural imbalance that usually appears during adolescence. This spinal deviation affects mobility in multiple areas: the skull, the viscera, and the musculoskeletal system.
This condition can cause discomfort that greatly limits daily activities. My approach is particularly effective for this type of issue.
Many people have a mild scoliosis without even knowing it.
The Mechanical Link Osteopathic Method (LMO)
Ideal for achieving rapid and concrete results, it also stands out for its effectiveness in complex or recurring cases.
With an innovative understanding of the human body, this method views the body as a whole while applying precise, gentle, and safe techniques.
In every session, the entire body is evaluated and treated thoroughly.
In most cases, you will feel the restricted movement and appreciate the effectiveness of the technique.
Identifying the most disturbed or limiting zones is at the heart of this approach. LMO is suitable for individuals of all ages and for a wide range of conditions with the goal of restoring the body’s functional harmony.
From Pain Management to Movement Optimization
With personalized corrective exercises, persistent discomfort can be reduced, body awareness improved, and muscles strengthened for a long-lasting return to activities.
After the intense pain phase fades, residual discomfort may persist. Every painful episode causes a loss of proprioceptive reference points. It is essential to reintegrate these parameters through appropriate functional exercises.
Regular practice gradually makes the muscles more resilient. This approach is ideal for returning to sport stronger than before.
My Techniques
I adapt my techniques to each patient to gently address tension areas, restore mobility, and support the body’s natural self-regulation mechanisms.
Recoil Techniques
Quick, light impulses to release tension
Myofascial Techniques
Mobilization of superficial and deep fascia
Muscle Energy Technique (MET)
The patient actively participates by contracting specific muscles
Joint Mobilization Techniques
Aims to restore joint range of motion through gentle, progressive movements respecting physiological limits
Joint Pumping
Drainage and release through rhythmic movements
Neural Gliding
Technique aimed at releasing tensions that may affect nerve passage
Scar Tissue Mobilization
Gentle manual techniques to improve tissue mobility after surgery
Decompression or Tensioning Technique
Specific approach to harmonize tensions between viscera and surrounding structures
Suture Techniques
Fine manual techniques aimed at restoring mobility of cranial and facial sutures
Direct Technique
Specific approach to support the functioning of the neuro-meningeal system and cranial nerves, including the vagus nerve

About
I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology at the University of Sherbrooke in 2011 and earned a Graduate Diploma (D.E.S.S.) in Therapeutic Exercises in 2012.
I then completed my osteopathy studies at the Collège d’Ostéopathie du Québec (COQ) in 2020.
Recent seminars allowed me to deepen my knowledge in osteopathic mechanical link, fascia, and neural compression areas.
I am committed to staying up to date with the latest osteopathic research and methods, applying clinical reasoning based on evidence-based data.

Lili Gao
I had a knee problem after running intensively for three months. I consulted a physiotherapist for several months with no improvement. A friend recommended Vincent. He treated me and also gave me specific exercises to strengthen my knee. My condition gradually improved with each session. Vincent is highly skilled and takes a holistic approach to the problem. When I saw other health professionals, they insisted on focusing on a single issue at a time. But with Vincent, he asked me to tell him about everything that was bothering me so he could work systematically. I believe this is what makes his approach so effective, as multiple parts of the body work together rather than in isolation. Vincent has a comprehensive vision and is able to find the underlying cause of symptoms. He is very professional and also very warm as a person. I recommend him to all my friends without hesitation.
Karine Decoste
I am a regular osteopathy client of Vincent. I am sharing my experience because I highly recommend consulting Vincent whether you have a small or big issue. Vincent listens carefully to our needs and is very thorough. I also experienced this with my daughters, and he makes children feel very comfortable.
I strongly recommend contacting him.
